1.The office of the General Manager (Adm) is situated at CIDCO Bhavan and has on its roll General Manager (Adm), one Higher Grade Stenographer, One Field Officer, two clerk-typists, one peon and one driver.
2. The primary function of this department is to effectively liaison with the State Govt. and other Govt./Public departments. CIDCO being a Company formed in the year 1971 under the Companies Act 1956 and the State Govt. having fully subscribed its the share capital; its functions are controlled by the Govt. in U.D.D. through the Board of Directors. Hence there is a consistent need to effectively liaison with the Urban Development Department in Mantralaya for many of its functions.
3. For effectively /closely monitoring the above activities, another wing is stationed at our registered office at Nirmal, under a Development Officer designated as “Administrative & Personnel Officer”, who is assisted by 1 Asstt. Personnel Officer (presently vacant), one Field Officer, 3 office assistants, one English Stenographer, one Marathi Stenographer, one Clerk Typist and one peon. 4. All letters correspondence etc. issued to the Govt. /Semi Govt. Bodies / Authorities /Ministers, MPs/MLAs etc. are primarily got approved by the concerned HODs from the JMD or MD and subsequently issued under the signature of the G.M. (Adm).
5. Presently, the Personnel Department is reporting through the undersigned, in respect of all policy matters.
6. In addition to the above, co-ordination work related to the weekly meeting being conducted by the Hon. Guardian Minister for Thane – Shri Ganesh Naik is being monitored by the undersigned with the assistance of Shri R.G. More, Personnel Officer (Welfare & Training). So far, about 800 representations have been received since the inception in April / May 2005, about 70 to 80% of the representations have been redressed / disposed off. Balance are being collected from the respective HODs.
7. So also, recently since the implementation of the “Right to Information Act, 2005”, the VC & MD in the capacity of “Competent Authority” has appointed ‘Assistant Public Information Officer’, ‘Public Information Officers’ and ‘Appellate Authorities’. The Co-ordination work for all the PIOs is being carried out by Shri S.B. Deshmukh, A & PO from Nirmal under the direct supervision of the GM (A).
