Industrial Park:
It is a part of Navi Mumbai Special Economic Zone. CIDCO has taken up the development of Kalamboli residential node on the area of 342 Ha. and Warehousing Complex 302 Ha. in the year 1982 with a view to catering to the Housing and Urban Service’s needs of the people working in Iron and Steel Market-Cum- Warehousing Complex nearby Taloja Industrial area to MIDC. The majority of population belongs to labour community i.e. Mathadi workers who have a simple standard of living. The Mumbai-Pune Express Highway starts from Truck Terminal near Kalamboli.
