It was opened for development in 1986 by launching the World Bank Aided Housing Project. This node is a fast growing township situated to north of Vashi and can be called as an extended suburb of Vashi. ‘Dhirubhai Ambani’ knowledge city has come up on the east side of this Node. The gross area of this township is 324.35 Ha. This node is a mixture of income groups. On one side CIDCO has constructed 10,769 BUDP core units for EWS and on other side it attracts a population of high level executives and engineers which adds to the gentility of Navi Mumbai.
