CIDCO is a Government Company, established by Govt. of Maharashtra in 1970 under the Company Act 1956 to develop a Twin City parallel to Mumbai and this city was named as Navi Mumbai. Since then CIDCO is continuously engaged in developing townships in Navi Mumbai and also New Towns namely; Nashik, Nanded, Aurangabad,Walunj,Vasai-Virar,Nagpur etc. Development of townships involves the construction of various types of buildings right from L.I.G. type to Skyscrapers & related infrastructures like roads, water supply, sewerage, storm water drains, street lighting, etc.
Besides this CIDCO is also playing an important role in improving the transport facility in Navi Mumbai by bringing railway right upto Panvel via Munkhurd. At Present Thane-Turbhe, Nerul, Vashi, Railway Project is in progress and the same is likely to be commissioned soon. This has resulted in attracting large no. of people to book their houses in Navi Mumbai.

INVITATION TO MANUFACTURER/VENDOR FOR REGISTRATION OF PRODUCTS FOR CIVIL CONSTRUCTION /ELECTRICAL WORKS IN CIDCO
The Superintending Engineer (Head Quarter) on behalf of CIDCO invites applications from the manufacturer / vendor for registration of their products to be used in CIDCO housing projects, infrastructural works, etc.
Informatory booklet/application form can be had from the office of EE (Navi Mumbai), 3rd Floor, CIDCO Bhavan by submitting request application on working days.
Registered products shall be allowed to be used in CIDCO projects.
The registration charges per set of product is Rs. 3000/- for two years which shall be paid as under ?
a) Rs. 500/- as scrutiny fee (non refundable) in the form of DD in favour of CIDCO Ltd. Or in cash, along with the application form submitted in person (to be adjusted towards registration charges, if the product is approved).
b) Balance amount Rs. 2500/- after receipt of Demand note.
The vendor is expected to read terms and conditions carefully and shall attach all documents along with the application to avoid delays. In case of insufficient documents submitted, the proposal is rejected without any notice.
After approval the name of the product and vendor will be included in the approved list of products.
CIDCO reserves the right to register the product or reject the same without assigning any reason there of.

1. The manufacturer/ vendor will have to submit separate application for each set of products along with required documents.
2. The manufacturer/ vendor will have to submit Sales Tax Clearance Certificate and Income Tax clearing Certificates along with the duly filled in application booklet and the required documents.
3. Eligible manufacturer / vendors will be informed as soon as the approval from the Competent Authority is received.
4. The approval will be granted initially for a period of Two years & subsequently renewed as per procedures of CIDCO & performance of the product.
5. For renewal, the manufacturer / vendor will have to submit the undated information, documents such as
a) Income tax clearance certificate or latest balance sheet showing total sale of product attested by Chartered Accountant.
b) Solvency certificate.
c) Performance certificate from various Govt. / Semi Govt. Departments.
d) List of contractors to whom material is supplied by the manufacturer for CIDCO project.

Following documents shall be submitted by manufacturer/vendor in chronological order along with the application, addressing to Executive Engineer (NM) in person.
