City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) of Maharashtra Limited is a public limited company set up by the Govt. of Maharashtra in 1970 under the provision of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act 1966. Govt. of Maharashtra also appointed as a New Town Development Authority for CIDCO to undertake development of Navi Mumbai in a planned and orderly manner.
