A DUTCH DELEGATION VISITS CIDCO - ENGLISH

A Dutch delegation lead by Minister for Foreign Trade, Dutch Government, Mr. Frank Heemskerk, today visited CIDCO's Navi Mumbai Project. Mr. D. P. Samant, Chief Architect & Planner, CIDCO and Mr. S. Sinha, Additional Chief Transportation Engineer, CIDCO welcomed the Guests at CIDCO Bhavan. Mr. S. Sinha, Addl. Chief Transportation Engineer made a presentation to the visiting delegates about CIDCO's

proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport. Similarly, Mr. D. P. Samant, Chief Architect & Planner, CIDCO briefed the delegates about CIDCO's Navi Mumbai Project, its salient features and the issues relating to Rehabilitation and Development. The delegation later visited the site of the proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport. The delegation consisted of the following :- 1. Mr. Frank Heemskerk, Minister for Foreign Trade. 2. Mr. Loek Hermans, Chairman of the Royal Dutch Association of SMEs & Leader of the business delegation. 3. Mr. Bob Heinsch, Netherlands Ambassador to India, New Delhi. 4. Mr. Hans Ramaker, Consul General of the Netherlands, Mumbai. The delegation consisted of 40 members mainly Planners, Engineers, Architects,Economists, Administraters, etc. Shri.Soma Vijaykumar, Senior Transportation Engineer, CIDCO, Mrs.Geeta Pillai, Asstt.Transportation Engineer & Shri.Mohan Ninawe, Asstt. Public Relations Officer, CIDCO was also present on the occasion.
