 Golf Course

CIDCO has decided to develop a signature GOLF COURSE of international standards in Kharghar. The proposed golf course will be spread over an area of 103 ha. Approx. and located in Sector 22 of Kharghar.
Conceptualized as a 18 hole golf course the project shall include Club house, 5 star hotel, Golf academy (for training purposes) and high class residential developments on peripheral area. The chosen site has an idyllic setting with the Pandav waterfalls as back drop and overview of the 80 ha central park – another international standard project being developed by the corporation.
CIDCO kick started the ‘Golf course’ project with a one day workshop called by the Vice Chairman and Managing Director Shri. G. S. Gill. The workshop attended by Planners and Engineers from the corporation was conducted in order to understand the mechanics and other details of Golf course visa-a-vis’ CIDCO’s requirements.
Mr. Phil Ryan, renowned golf player and expert in planning and designing of golf course conducted the workshop. M/s. Pacific Coast Design of Melbourne(Australia), were appointed as consultants for preparation of the master plan for the project. The corporation intends to make the project operational, by February 2010.
