Belapur-Panvel Railway Line

Belapur - Panvel Railway Commuter Line is extension of Mankhurd-Belapur Railway Commuter line.

This Railway line provides Mass Rapid Transport facility to Kharghar Node, Steel Market at Kalamboli & Residential Complexes at Khandeshwar & Panvel.

Interchange facility is proposed at Mansarovar Station.

Belapur – Panvel line divides Navi Mumbai centrally and hence has a lot of potential for passenger traffic and is instrumental in increasing the land cost of a large area covered by this project.

Single line extended upto Panvel & commissioned on 29th June, 1998 inaugurated by Shri Ram Naik, Hon C. Rly. Minister for state andShri Manohar Joshi, Hon. Chief Minister

CST to Panvel (double line) Commuter Rail Service was commissioned on 14th April 2000
