 CIDCO initiates process for development of Integrated Commercial Complex at Seawoods Railway station.

CIDCO had initiated the process of developing an Integrated Commercial Complex at the Seawoods Railway Station. This complex will be spread over 16.2 Ha. The total FSI available will be 26 lakhs sq.ft.(at 1.5 FSI). This complex will be a State of the Art Complex providing space for commercial, shopping, offices, multiplexes and hotels. The complex will be one of its kind in the Country. In this regard the commercial bids of three pre-qualified bidders were opened on 5/2/2008. The L&T Ltd quoted Rs. 1809 crores is the highest bidder which is followed by DLF Retail Developers at Rs.1530 crores and by India Bulls Real Estate at Rs.1059 crores. The award of this work shall be finalized in a short time. Along with an Integrated Complex an Iconic Railway Station Building shall also be built by the successful bidder. This Railway Station Building is likely to cost around 35 crores. The Complex when completed shall provide about 20,000 work places.
